I’ve been delaying my California post because I honestly didn’t know how to handle it. The trip meant so much to me but I’m not sure I could translate that. A lot of it, I guess, is inside jokes and old friends giving in to nostalgia. I’d still like to post a couple of pictures and a tell you about a few things we did because somehow I think most of my readers can relate to being with friends you love dearly even if you can’t relate specifically to my friends.

{Wait time: 15 minutes; Eating time: 45 seconds. I kid you not.}We split a Red Velvet Cupcake and a Strawberry Cupcake between the 4 of us because those babies are expensive. Now, knowing what I know of their deliciousness, I would’ve splurged for my own.
We did the whole Hollywood thing.
We supported Kelley from the stands at her swim meet.
We did the beach—twice!
We were silly:

...and ate!
{We seriously love food.}And most of all---we reminisced like crazy about our semester together in Salzburg, Austria. We watched “The Sound of Music” of course and sang along to “Edelweiss” while saluting the Osterreich (Austria) banner.
