La-Tee-Da

*Shuffle is making me happy tonight, even if it's all over the place genre-wise. Last 7 songs: Loser (Glee cast version), Human of the Year (Regina Spektor), Good Morning Baltimore (Hairspray), Let it Rock(Kevin Rudolf), More Time (Needtobreathe), Starlight (Muse), After Today (The Goofy Movie)(<--yep.)

*I was on a bus in the campo (countryside; lots of olive fields and not much else) at 6pm yesterday. At first it was a bit hard to tell if the rapture had or had not occured since I was in the middle of nowhere, but I didn't want to think the bus driver and I had been left behind, so I decided we were safe.

*In 2 weeks I want to: Drive my car, cuddle my nephew, hug my family, see like 10 movies in a row (I've seen one movie in nine months!), go to my favorite bookstore Tattered Cover, frolick in the park, sleep comfortably in my own amazing bed, breathe the fresh Colorado air, bake (cupcakes, cookies, everything American!), cook (baked mac 'n' cheese for starters---remember I've been oven-less for 9 months), and EAT (sushi, Qdoba, Egg and I, Snooze, Chinese, Starbucks, etc.)

*In 2 weeks I will miss: using Euros--I love the coins because I never remember to count them so I feel like I'm not even spending money when I pay for whole meals with just coins!, long long afternoons sipping a succession of tinto de veranos, walking everywhere in town, my Spanish family, my roommate, my Sunday morning churros, not being a slave to my cellphone/texting, salmorejo, my American & British pueblo friends, my students (but only the adorable ones), my rooftop, crazy Spanish customs and endless holidays, and more...

*Today my diet consisted of: churros for breakfast, skipped over lunch (accidentally) in favor of spending 4 hours outside sipping iced-coffees and eating tapas with a friend, icecream, and a large healthy salad for dinner...does the salad make up for the rest?

*La-tee-da I sing to myself a lot when I'm alone in my piso. I can hear everything my neighbors do through these thin walls so I am sufferning no delusions that they can't hear me singing...but somehow since I can't see them, I don't feel embarassed. Jaja!
