I have the coolest cousin. And she has the coolest boyfriend. Together they make the coolest couple. Some people think the coolest couples are those who coordinate their outfits...but I say try coordinating your pedaling on a bike as you cover thousands of miles! Now that's cool!
And that's just what the aforementioned couple will be doing for the next four months. Starting today in Savannah, Georgia and aiming to finish on September 12 in Seattle, Washington my cousin, Anna, and her boyfriend, Kevin, are biking across the country! On a tandem bike! Seriously, have you heard of anything cooler?
They will be living in tents and the occasional family and friend's home as they trek cross country. They are excited to sleep on beaches and under the starry skies of the open wilderness. And one of the coolest parts of their venture is that they are going to be raising money for St. Jude's along the way in honor of my Uncle Tom, Anna's Dad.
I have always been so impressed and awed by the adventurous life my cousin leads and I am so excited to follow along on Anna and Kevin's blog as they take off on their bicycle built for two. If you'd like to hear more about their plans or follow their trip, check here. If you'd like to support their cause and honor the memory of my Uncle, please go here.

Seriously, coolest thing ever. I kinda wanna do that...but I'd only make it to scottsdale. Which is 20 minutes away in a car.
I love you Katie Bug!! Thought you should know.
That is so so cool! I am so jealous of their amazing trip!!! But as Alexa Mae said, I wouldn't make it any far neither... The most hard thing I ever did was walking 111km in 5 days, and I was completely exhausted after it, my feet and knees hurt...
I am so following their trip. For sure!
Wow, what a unique way to see the country. You're right, your cousin is the coolest!
Okay, I think you're right, that's the coolest thing ever. I'm in awe of them! Gonna check out their blog now.
