To the Capitol

My most darling friend Marci came to visit last week and what a joy it was.

I got to spend several days with her, including my 24th birthday! I like to think such a delightful start to my year is a good sign for the rest of it. So thanks for that Marci.

Marci visiting was great for the sake of it but also for the side-effects: I got to see more of Abbi last week than I had all summer! And now I don't think I can possibly allow such a lapse in hanging out to occur again because she slays me.

Together we 3:

-Shopped vintage

-Introduced Marci to: Snooze, Noodles, Old Chicago's

-Discussed religion (we know how to party, don't be jealous)

-Ate copious amounts

-Saw "Celeste & Jesse Forever" at a nifty old theatre in downtown Denver, The Esquire

-Talked and talked and talked. An obscene yet awesome amount.

-Went to The Melting Pot for my birthday

-Tried to watch "Detention"--deemed it the worst decision of our lives

-Took Marci's "Arrested Development" virginity; effectively changed her life

-Missed our 4th part, Lauren, ~A LOT

In conclusion, Marci, please come back. You know District 11 is nothing compared to our fine luxuries here in the Capitol.
