I ignored all of my research materials...
And ventured outside.
It was 80 degrees and pleasant in the shade of Oak Alley.
This was behind me:
This bird sat next to me for most of the hour I spent out there. We became friends.
And then, having gotten a good dose of Vitamin D, I returned inside to have a Glee marathon with some friends.
I love to bake from scratch, but we took the easy way out and did break & bake cookies to allow for maximum Glee watching time.
I insisted on wearing my apron anyway.

Oak Valley is beautiful! As are you, sweet girl! I love baking from scratch and aprons :) Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Wow, that is gorgeous!
YAY for Glee marathon! I've been re-watching the epis in preparation for the second part! YAY! Less than 2 weeks!
Aprons and baking from scratch is the best! Happy Easter love!!
This just made my day.... I adore you.
Big leafy trees instantly improve my day. I can't wait for the leaves to finally bloom. We're just getting flowers and some daffodils have sprouted on our walkway.
I need to wear lipstick more often...
and make cookies :)
I find it coincidental that you talk about getting a lot of Vitamin D prior to watching a marathon of Glee :) Or was that reference on purpose?
Those pics are INCREDIBLE. I envy your pretty sites!
