I don’t expect that anyone will have much interest in all of these photos but I was feeling super nostalgic and decided I wanted to do a “remember when” High School post.
Some of these are blurry because they had to be scanned from real prints. I know, old school.
Remember when I got to meet my internet best friend while visiting colleges in Michigan? And our best friendship was solidified because we got along just as well as we did via the phone/internet?
Remember when sister and I got to meet all the stars of the touring cast of Wicked in 2005 including the phenomenal Ms. Stephanie J. Block!?
...to the Melting Pot?
Remember when my life was theater? I went to thespian convention...
...and had lots of ridiculous inside jokes with these people...
Remember when my puppy and I looked like this several times daily because she was my sister and best friend? {R.I.P.}
Remember the last day of High School?
...and Senior awards? I picked this picture because we all have ridiculous looks on our faces, like "why is our theatre teacher being creepy while we pose with him?"
Remember when we ate ALL the time, like right after we graduated? It's crazy to think I'm about to do this again:
...Only this time I have no idea what's coming next. Which is both exciting and terrifying.

I love this post- because it makes me remember all the things I've done, and all the things I want to do, too! (Such as the dressing up and eating- such a cute idea)I love the reminiscing. And the last part "Only this time I have no idea what's coming next. Which is both exciting and terrifying." I'm right there, too.
<3 yay for longtime net bffs! Strangely enough I remember hearing about all of this. Reminiscing is fun, haha. :)
Exciting AND terrifying, yes.
It can be difficult navigating the post-college graduation decisions/emotions. I think embracing it really helps (atleast it has with me :))
I'm so happy for you, Katie. It's such a wonderful accomplishment. Congratulation, my dear!!!
I'm pretty sure this post just solidifies your amazingness.
After college will be amazing and everything will fall into place!
Remember when posts rock! I love you sissy
I love this post. I may steal your idea.
I adore your HP themed outfits. You are full of fabulous m'dear!
I am with you on being excited and terrifying! Hey at least our lives are bound to get interesting, right?!
You met Stephanie J. Block?! I'm so jealous. I love that you are a theatre kid....the more I read the more I see how much we have in common!
This may be one of my favorite posts of yours. I love seeing pictures from your past! And I love your dorky HP stuff. I was the same way.
Ok let's face it...I am STILL a dork.
I love old pictures! And I love that I have a similar blonde hair in french braids horror story too (except you look cute in your picture, my hair was orange)
I've been thinking about doing a HS post for a while and have never sat down to do it. You have inspired me to make it happen:)
Good times! Whenever I get my hair dyed it never turns out the way I want or imagine. And then I feel like crying too haha O well :p
Ahhh I loved this. You actually made me miss high school! I tried to highlight my hair once, it turned blonde. It was so bad I didn't go to school the next day. It was a traumatic experience!
Your future is ahead of you! Be excited!! <3
This makes me smile...
