Actually, it dawned with a grey sky full of icy rain that has now turned to beautiful huge chunks of snow.
Because this snow is falling in TN and not CO, my classes are cancelled! School is closed!
Bright news indeed.

And now I’m trying to figure out in which ways I want to embrace a free day. Lots of relaxation for sure but—
Hot cocoa and Gilmore Girls?
Tea and reading in the comfy chair by the window where I can watch the snow fall?
Gilmore Girls and curling my hair for no reason than because I finally have an hour free to do it?
Lost, Lost and more Lost?
Luckily no matter how I spend my day I already have a fantastic stay-in movie-watching night planned with the best friend and the roommate tonight.

Um, I think you should curl your hair while listening to Gilmore 9lets face it, neither of us has to actually see the TV to know what is going on and what they are wearing in each scene). Then celebrate your lovely hair by drinking tea and reading for a bit in the comfy chair. Then. LOST. I finished the whole series now and I am anxiously awaiting Feb. 2nd, when the final season begins. While you watch LOST drink some cocoa, because cocoa is comforting and being stranded on crazy islands is not. Then, call your sister. She can't wait to see you in 14 days!

it was so icy yesterday that even the ground was completely iced over! i was afraid i was going to slip and hurt myself.
and about curling your hair, this is why we are friends because yesterday i curled my hair because i simply had a free hour :)

I have never had a snow day... The time we get off for bad weather is for hurricanes and it is never fun.

I am extremely jealous of your day. Every single one of your options sounds amazing! You should probably do all of the above.
This is why I sometimes wish it snowed where I live. Even just a tiny bit.

We don't have snow in MY part of California. Which is good. I don't like it. However, I would like snow days that include doing all of the things you listed above.
